DWP confirms five groups of pensioners who will not qualify for Winter Fuel Payment

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has confirmed the five groups of pensioners who will not receive the Winter Fuel Payment in 2026. The annual tax-free grant of up to £300, paid to people over State Pension age, will not go to those who fall outside the £35,000 income threshold and other eligibility criteria.
